How to use the Polar Ice Foot and Ankle Cold Pack:
- Make sure to consult a doctor or physical therapist before you use it
- Ensure the product is sufficiently cooled in the freezer (2 - 3 hours) before you use it.
- Lay the wrap out flat onto the floor and place your foot in the center of it
- Use hook-and-loop closure system to tighten the first strap around your toes
- Then wrap the sides around your ankle and foot and secure with the second and longest strap for the appropriate amount of compression you require
- Lastly, secure the small removable strap behind your ankle and above your heel for a complete, snug fit
- Make sure it’s not too tight and doesn’t stop blood flow
- Recommended use is up to 15 minutes
- Do not use if you suffer from altered or decreased sensation in your legs or feet
